It's hard to remember what it was like being married without our two beautiful children. Only four years ago our little family began with Ella. Now with Emersyn we have our hands full, but wouldn't change it for the world. They bring so much joy to our lives and we are amazed daily by the things they do. I guess all parents are! Their little spirits are so precious and we are blessed to have the chance to raise them.

How Lucky We Are!
Ella's 4th Birthday
Ella wanted a princess cake for her 4th birthday. She picked Princess Jasmine with a purple dress. However, the bottle of gel to dye the frosting did not quite turn out to be "Regal purple." When Ella woke up that morning the first thing she said was, "Mom, I said I wanted a purple princess cake!" Mom did not want to hear that after she had stayed up all night making the cake. We had to compromise with "periwinkle."
One of Ella's favorite gifts was her big girl bike.
We can't believe our little girl is 4 already. Wow, does time fly.
Celebrating at Yammy Linda's house with another princess cake (this one was from 31 flavors).
Dying Easter Eggs

Ella had a blast dying Easter eggs again this year. She loves to put the eggs in the different colors. I think she likes to eat the eggs after they have ben dyed even more (only the white part of the egg!).
St. Patricks Day

Emersyn came upon a rice crispy treat and very quietly found a way to open the wrapper and began to eat it without making a peep. Mom thought that Emersyn was unusually quiet, so she went to look for her. We found her in the corner of the family room eating away!

Our March Vacation to Disneyland and Mammoth Mountain

Just getting warmed up with their instructor Messy Jesse.
Ella ready to go skiing!
Emersyn and Noah waiting in the tram line at Disneyland.

We just returned from a mini vacation to Disneyland and the Sierra Nevada Mountains where we spent some time in Mammoth skiing and snowboarding. We started our vacation on Saturday with Ella's cousins the Switzer's at Disneyland. Ella loves spending time with Aubrey, Ashley, Noah, and Tyler (Ty Ty).
We spent the day enjoying the Magic Kingdom. The kids couldn't get enough of Thunder Mountain! They wanted to go on it again and again.
On Sunday morning we drove to Mammoth and spent two days skiing. We had a blast!!
The parents thought ahead and asked Grandma and Aunt Mar if they would join us in the fun and also to do a little babysitting (since Tyler and Emersyn could not ski yet) so the Mom's and Dad's could ski and snowboard.
We put the kids in a private ski school lesson for 6 hours and then we hit the slopes. The kids loved skiing they all picked it up like pros. It was awesome to see.
After spending two days in the snow we headed back home only to return to Disneyland again for another day of fun. (luckily we all have passes)
It was a fun week for all.
Ella skiing for the first time 3 weeks before her fourth birthday. Way to go little bug!!!
